Every child deserves to feel special and loved—especially on their birthday. Unfortunately, some kids and teen in foster care have birthdays that come and go with little and sometimes, no, fanfare or acknowledgement. Let’s change that!
Join the Birthday Circle and provide cookies, cards, positive birthday messages and funding to send these amazing kids hope and good cheer!
RUHS Foundation, in collaboration with Riverside County Department of Public Social Services, Children’s Services Division, created an ongoing awareness and birthday card campaign, called the Birthday Circle, to help ensure all Riverside County’s children and youth in foster care know they are remembered and loved. The program includes the opportunity for businesses and individuals to sponsor and donate to the cause, and for the Foundation to recognize those gifts.
Each of Riverside County’s 3000+ children and youth who is placed in out-of-home care, will receive a birthday box filled with confetti and two birthday cookies. They’ll also receive a birthday card, custom designed and created by an artist from the Riverside Art’s Council and a handwritten birthday message from a caring individual in our local community.
Help us brighten a child or teen’s day by supporting this special Birthday Circle program and address these needs in a fun and loving way. No matter where they live, how old they are or the length of time in foster care, each child will receive a birthday card with a hand-written message, and a birthday treat. Simply decide how you’d like to give and we’ll send their birthday card and treat!
