Pinwheels for Prevention 2024
April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month and it serves as a reminder that everyone has a role in helping to protect our most cherished resource—our children. There is no better time to help raise awareness and support prevention efforts on behalf of all children who are suffering from the physical and emotional impact of abuse. Pinwheels for Prevention is a national campaign designed to increase awareness of child abuse prevention efforts. During the month of April, National Child Abuse Prevention Month, RUHS Foundation partners with those who recognize the importance of families and communities working together to prevent child abuse and neglect. Prevention services and support developed by this collaboration can help parents, caregivers, and communities protect children and strengthen families.
Join the campaign by becoming a sponsor, attending an event, sharing on social media, and/or purchasing a pinwheel online to be placed in the RUHS Pinwheels for Prevention Garden or from a point-of-sale location to take home. Your support helps provide supplies, enhance services, sponsor training, and purchase new equipment.
Thank you for your partnership and commitment to help our children live happy, healthy lives. We hope to see pinwheels in every corner of our county as reminders of the carefree childhood our kids deserve.
